The Spalding Slam Dunk Basketball Rim is a performance breakaway rim made for college basketball play. This rim features a single rim configuration and continuous Ram Horn Net System. The Slam Dunk is factory calibrated to meet rebound elasticity requirements. The Slam Dunk breakaway basketball rim meets all NCAA specifications and has a universal mounting pattern compatible with 48" and 42" backboards. Spalding's positive lock breakaway goals are spring loaded to withstand a specific amount of force applied to the rim before they automatically release and pivot downward. Once the force is removed, the rim will return to normal play position.
