With pro-level features and a design made for high school players, the Schutt XV HD Adult Football Shoulder Pads - All Purpose are the latest in Schutt's popular XV line. A newly-designed, high-performance arch minimizes the weight and still delivers the same impact zone protection. The pads include a higher density EVA foam that allows heat and sweat to escape, keeping your body cool and allowing you to perform at a high level. The epaulets and caps are positioned and sized to eliminate grab points and allow a maximum range of motion. The clavicle channel system protects your shoulders and absorbs impact around the AC joint. Recommended for linebackers, fullbacks, tight ends and lineman, these pads are ideal for those who do the dirty work on both sides of the ball. They feature a longer cut to accommodate various positions on the field, while providing maximum coverage and comfort.

Great looking shoulder pads and for a awesome price. Playing middle linebacker and needed a little added protection. Probably have half of my team mate's in these pads. Great feel and comfort as well. Bought the back plate also and that extra protection is gonna feel great.

I think the pads are really nice, I love the design and price it's what caught my attention. The downfall for me is the way they fit, didn't like how when you raise your arms the pads don't stay tight in the right places against your chest, and for me the straps were to high up. But that could just be my frame I play tightend and I feel like these pads would fit better for someone smaller.

Free Ground shipping got the pads in just a few days. Son says they are comfortable and is able to maneuver better with his arms playing HS OL/DT. Ordered size XL his shoulders were 20" he's 5-11, 240. Sports Unlimited had the best pricing online, will order more football gear in the future.

These pads weigh 4.4 lbs. You should buy shoulder pads based on shoulder measurement. the straps that connect the front and back of the pads around the chest have a good amount of adjustment to fit a wide range of player chest sizes.
