Time to look like the future MVP with the Riddell Phenom SK Adult Football Shoulder Pads - Skill Position. Riddell designed the Phenom pads with the varsity player in mind, delivering all the protection and toughness you need to hit the field with confidence. The Phenom Shoulder Pads have a great Air Management padding system that uses a sealed cushion of air to evenly absorb and disperse impacts with ease. These skill position pads are lightweight without cutting down on protection. A removeable backplate gives you the option to go lighter so you can just out run all of your opponents. Recommended for quaterbacks, running backs, tight ends, wide receivers, and defensive backs. Flat pad design gives these pads a low profile fit so you can fly around the field with little or no restriction.

Pads are a perfect fit! I didnt even think anything was in the box. I was kinda skeptical to order them but the only thing I regret is not ordering them sooner!

The range motion is too bad for the receiver, can't really raise the arms with it, especially catching the high ball, but the protection is fair enough, so if you play DB, probably a good choice

I had the opportunity to try these pads for a few days of practice and 2 games due to my main set of pads being refurbished..surprisingly nice fit and protection for the price..fit was a little bulkier around the shoulders but other than that it reminded me of the days when I played pop warner years ago..ahh good times
this is the best pads ever, hands down your not going to get a steal like this ever. I play O and D, the look and feel of these pads are great. Nothing wrong with theses right here. Snug fit and lots of movement. Happy......

At first I was unsure about these but then I saw them on Riddell.com and decided to give them a try since they were decently priced. So far so good. Upset that the backpad that came with it can barely fit a child let alone an adult.

You would not be able to attach a rib protector to these pads due to the fact that they already have a backplate on them. You may be able to wear a padded shirt that only has padding on the sides of the ribs, but it may over lap with the backplate. Adult shoulder pads are typically worn for high school and above players.
