The Rawlings Hollywood Impact Kwik-Release Varsity Single Base was designed to ensure player safety when running the bases. This base compresses upon impact like other Hollywood impact bases but with an added safety feature where the top of the base disengages from the bottom platform upon a strong impact. This greatly reduces player injuries. The orange platform also features soft tabs that interconnect with the tabs on the underside of the top base. These tabs are soft enough for players to slide over. Equipped with a 6" stanchion for mounting.
