The Rawlings Hollywood Impact Kiwk-Release Youth Single Base is the official recommended base of the Babe Ruth League, Cal Ripkin Baseball and is approved for Little League play. This base compresses upon impact like other Hollywood impact bases but with an added safety feature where the top of the base disengages from the bottom platform upon a strong impact. This greatly reduces player injuries. The orange platform also features soft tabs that interconnect with the tabs on the underside of the top base. These tabs are soft enough for players to slide over. Equipped with a 6" stanchion for mounting.
