It was constructed using a steel frame with a flex-foam shield and spring-loaded, steel combination arms for striking, and it has a foam-backed polyethylene breast plate that acts more realistically like an opponent's chest so you can incorporate more realistic game movement into your practice. The jersey was marked with an "x" at legal grab points to more effectively train muscle memory, and the arms help players get low and inside to master the correct hand placement and leverage. This blocking pad forces your players to use their hands while maintaining spatial integrity, and it allows game-speed drills, unlike traditional blocking sleds.
