The Krausko Colt Football Blocking Pad with Arms was designed using a steel frame with a flex-foam shield and spring-loaded, steel combination arms, and it has a heavy-duty 18 oz. vinyl protective cover for durability. A foam-backed polyethylene breast plate was included in the design as well to represent a more realistic opponent's chest, allowing more realistic game movement to be incorporated and more effective muscle memory to be formed. The arms on this blocking pad force players to use their hands while maintaining spatial integrity, therefore developing the proper technique that wins leverage battles, and it allows coaches to more easily identify and correct hand placment during play.
