Can you send directions on how to take it down after it is up on the backboard? My son wants to practice lay ups as well and it doesn't look like we can do that with the shot trainer on the backboard.
1 Answer
There aren't any clear instructions on how to take it down, other than collapsing it for storage. From videos I found online, once you disconnect the pole support, the entire frame and net can be lifted off the rim and set aside without having to break it down (it is suggested to have a helper to lift it down off the rim). Coach Alex
from Charles Town, WV. asked:
June 16, 2014
Is this device only used for outdoor baskets? Can it be connected to baskets that are anchored from our roof rafters? How is the device anchored to the basket? How secure is the anchor? I am a basketball coach and if I get this device it is going to get a lot of use, so I want to be sure this isn't going to fall apart on me after 1000 shots.
1 Answer
This shot trainer is only intended for outdoor use. The device is anchored to the basket with rim rests, but is not designed to be used with ceiling-mounted systems.
