The First Team Premium Competition Breakaway Basketball Rim - 5 x 5 and 4 x 5 Mount is a performance breakaway rim with the most durable positive lock mechanism available made for college and high school basketball. This rim features a single rim configuration and Tuff-Tie tubular net hanger design. The Tuff-Tie Net System uses a continuous tube that locks the net in place so that there is nothing for players to catch their fingers on. The First Team Premium Competition breakaway basketball rim meets all High School and NCAA specifications. The rim will fit both 5" x 5" and 4" x 5" mounting patterns. First Team developed the Flush-Mount adjustable back plate so that their rims would fit both 5" x 5" and 4" x 5" mounting patterns. The special feature of the Flush-Mount is that it adjusts to custom fit to your backboard so that nothing sticks out where it is not supposed to.
