The All Star Maldonado Pro Elite CM3000 34" Baseball Catcher's Mitt - Right Hand Throw was custom designed for Martin Maldonado and several other catchers who asked for a little more room to receive the ball. That's why this glove is just a 1/2" larger than All Star's most popular size. But for Maldonado it was just enough to help him win the Rawlings Gold Glove Award. It also features stiffer black leather in the pocket and on the back of the mitt, creating a slightly stiffer feel than the black and tan CM3000 model. It also features 100% embroidered on the back of the web to remind you of Maldonado's mantra to give 100% all of the time.
